Clinical Supervision and Consultation is a serious matter.

Clinical Supervision
I thought I was 'winning' because I received "free" supervision. I quickly learned that nothing is free. You either paid for it or it's part of your employee benefits and compensation. In my case, it was part of my benefits package.

My clinical experience taught me the importance of having a supervisor that's proactive, enthused, competent, ethical, and invested in my personal and professional development. It also taught me that supervision is more than getting your clinical hours- it's where you learn to become a therapist.

Each meeting will have an agenda that we will collaboratively create. It'll also encompass all four components of the ASWB Clinical Exam that provide you with the clinical skills you didn't receive in graduate school.

Clinical Consultation
Clinical consultation is where you're able to discuss your process of interviewing and gathering information, assessing, diagnosing, and treating a patient, which is essential for clinicians whether or not you're licensed.

Many therapists work solo. You must maintain a sense of community and perspective. As you become an expert in your practice, we should remain a life-long learner. We all need help with that one complex case or could benefit from a fresh perspective. Consultation is an excellent way to achieve this.

Each call is 1 hour. I will send you a template to complete and submit 48 hours before our scheduled appointment to maximize our time.

All documentation should be completed in 48 hours of scheduled calls.

A separate, legally-binding, the contract will be drafted for clinical supervision to ensure and increase peace of mind about securing your clinical hours.
